for couples
You’re stuck in a painful cycle—and you can both feel it.
You’re arguing more than you want to.
You’re saying things you don’t mean—or not saying anything at all.
One of you might be reaching for closeness while the other pulls away—or feels pushed too far.
Even when it starts small, it always seems to turn into something bigger. You both walk away feeling hurt, defensive, alone.
You want peace. You want connection. You want to feel like you’re on the same side.
You’re not broken. You’re stuck—and there’s a difference.
How I Work
I use an approach called PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) that helps us get underneath the arguments and into the heart of what’s happening between you.
PACT focuses on the moment-to-moment dynamics in your relationship—how you communicate, how you respond under stress, and how you protect yourselves when things get hard. Instead of analyzing problems from a distance, we work in the present to shift patterns in real time.
This approach is especially helpful for couples who feel stuck in cycles they can’t explain—and want to feel more connected, understood, and supported in their relationship.

The couples I work with are trying.
They care about each other, even if it doesn’t always seem that way.
They want to make it work, but just can’t figure out how.
They keep getting pulled into familiar loops and patterns.
They can feel frustrated. And lonely. And it’s often not clear how to fix things.
Couples therapy is a space to slow down, look at what’s happening between you, and start shifting the pattern—not by blaming each other, but by understanding what’s underneath the conflict and finding new ways to respond.
What to Expect
I’ll help you make sense of the stuck places. I’ll stay steady when things feel intense.
And I’ll support both of you as you begin to understand and respond to each other in new ways.
This is a space where your relationship doesn’t have to be perfect—or even peaceful yet.
It just has to matter to you.
I work with couples navigating:
Constant or escalating conflict that feels impossible to stop
One partner feeling too distant, the other too overwhelmed
The emotional impact of new parenthood or trying to conceive
Decisions about whether or when to have children
Feeling unseen, misunderstood, or emotionally alone in the relationship
Big transitions—career changes, moving, family stress
Cultural, religious, or identity-based differences that affect communication
Past trauma, sensitivity, or different attachment styles showing up in the relationship
Relationships where one or both partners are neurodivergent (e.g. ADHD, autism spectrum, sensory processing differences)
You don’t need to be in crisis to reach out.
You just need to be ready for something to shift.
